these, my friend, are quite fantastic- like you! (i'm sneaky, see? after complimenting the crackers, i sneakily complimented you! oh ho ho, what fun we're having!)
i found a whole jar of tropical traditions coconut cream in my pantry, and was in the mood for something special.
this recipe was inspired by the vivapura website's recipe for white bark.
I know there are plenty of banana 'ice cream' style recipes out there already but this is a new concoction I threw together tonight and thought it worked really well.
Didn't take a picture I'm afraid as couldn't wait to eat it! Will try and take one next time hopefully. :-)
This is a great recipe for Fall. Tahini and maple syrup are a very unlikely, but absolutely heavenly, combination. I know maple syrup isn't technically raw, but it really adds to the flavor. I also feel like maple syrup is one of those non-raw ingredients (like nutritional yeast) that is accepted in raw recipes. The caramel sauce looks and tastes like a slightly nutty caramel, perfect for dipping apples in.
Don't let the bland colors in the picture fool you - This is a super easy cabbage salad adapted from a recipe at www.WHFoods.org. It doesn't take that long to make and you can use the dressing with any veggies on hand as it is delicious and mixes well with just about anything!
