Chef's Sweet Fussy Balls

Servings:
About 10 small balls

This is a perfect way to use up your left over nut pulp from making but milk. Any nut pulp will work.

I named these balls after Chef from South Park and his famous song...and because they have the coconut flakes that makes them fuzzy.

Enjoy!

Crunchy Chocolate Treats

PICT3231.JPG
Servings:
Makes about 5 chocolate bars

At a consultation with a naturopath about my need to gain weight, eat more and improve my relationship with food, she advised me to have a treat as an afternoon snack. What I really wanted to make was a raw chocolate bar but didn't have enough ingredients to make lots, or any trays to set it in, so I made these crunchy things as a kind of experiment. I haven't tasted the finished product yet as they're still freezing but the bits I tasted whilst making it were yum! The photo doesn't really do them justice, they look a lot more decadent in real life!

Mango Maca Pudding

Mango season is here and it's always exciting when my favorite fruit is so abundant! This pudding is my recovery pudding after a workout. It's alkaline and uses maca to help recovery. It's delicious! I have this in my fridge all the time - with seasonal fruits.

Fruit & Nut Flapjack

Servings:
A LOT

Delicious raw fridge flapjacks (not the pancakes- the muesli-bar type ones) - easy to make and great for convenient high energy breakfasts and snacks.

Sun-dried Tomato Pate

This recipe is from Jennifer Cornbleet's book and love it so much I always have a batch made up. I'll use it in wraps, on top of salads or on crackers.
