Apple Almond Dulse Snack

Servings:
Solo Serving

GREAT PICK ME UP!!! Fresh is best but apples can be dehydrated for a trail mix version. I got the idea to mix this together from a friend who was in town visiting. I asked him if he wanted anything from the organic co op and he chose these 3 items. We ended up not being able to hang out that day and I got stuck with his stuff. I decided to try his little mix and fell in love.

Cheezy Almonds

Servings:
Makes 2 cups

Warning! These addicting things are my best version of the Living Nutz company’s Vegan Cheezy nutz. At $7.00 for about 25 almonds, I decided to make them myself. These are great for snacking on the trail, at work or while traveling.

Hemp Crunch Bars

Hemp Crunch Bars
Servings:
Makes 4 bars or 8 snack squares

Hemp might just be my favorite food on the planet. I am repeatedly amazed by its flavor and nutritional profile, and I truly cannot get enough of it. As a growing teenager and an avid runner, the high-calorie, nutrient-dense qualities of this bar, as well as it’s simplicity to make, are why this is probably my favorite raw recipe that I have created. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I have, especially since it’s my first electricity-free recipe!

Ston(e)y Mango Leathers with a Dash of Indian Flair

Servings:
Makes 8 small strips

Ahh… fruit leathers. A deliciously wise way to preserve the summer harvest and easily get your five-a-day while travelling. I chew mindfully at their sheer genius…

Go Go Mix

David Wolfe says that eating Gogi Berries with Cacao, inhances Cacao’s antioxidant levels by three! Talk about good food combinations!
