This recipe is based on a salad I had recently at The Cheesecake Factory. We played "food detective" and tried to guess the ingredients in the dressing, then replaced some ingredients to "raw-it-up" a bit. The result was one of the best salads I've had in a long time! The trick is in the chopping. Small pieces make it more fun-- don't ask me why!
So I got some big Portobello Mushrooms marked down at the store although I had no idea what to use them for but I made something up out of nowhere and here is what I got so yummy! Thats the thing with raw food I can have so much fun and it'll most likely always taste good, and it will make me feel good too!
I really like Pumpkin seeds and they have lots of vitamins and minerals like Iron (which I have worried about going raw) so everyday I soak some for the next day for something either smoothie or cereal then I experimented with this after seeing a raw sesame dip video and just made it up as I went. This recipe was my 2nd attempt at and it turned out better than my first (no oil, raisins or spinach in it)
This is a delicious juice that will load you up with electrolytes and help flush out the kidneys. Tastes great.
