This recipe is by far, my favorite raw macaroon recipe ever; not too chewy, not too sweet, and just the right texture. The combination of coconut with maple syrup and vanilla chai spice will satisfy any sweet tooth, and gives the classic macaroon a sassy raw vegan twist.
These raw cookie balls (or donut holes) are so quick & easy. Arrange on a platter with fruit for parties and other gatherings. Even raw skeptics will love this simple dessert. Using freshly ground cardamom really does make a big difference! If you don't have a spice grinder, you can do it the ol' fashioned way with a motar & pestle. I hope you enjoy this recipe. A super sweet, nostalgic trip back to our days of eating WAY more than our fair share of CCCD. Except now, it's actually good for you! You get vitamins and minerals from the dates, healthy fats and minerals from the cashews, and antioxidants from the cacao nibs! So simple, and oh so delicious!
These kind of taste like oatmeal raisin cookies, only with the added wholesome sweetness of bananas, dates, and a touch of maple syrup helping us eliminate the flour, refined sugar, and butter. Another healthy sweet toof recipe??? YUP! Takes under 10 minutes to make your dough...dehydrating times vary, though mine took about 4 hours.

Chewy, sweet carob cookie with more than a hint of banana flavor.
