Before we move forward, let's gaze back and pat ourselves on the back for what we've done so far!

  • I've got a blender and a food processor.
  • I've made raw brownies.
  • I've made a dessert from The Rawtarian's book "Too Good To Be Raw" Desserts.
  • I've made a green smoothie.
  • I've found a salad that tastes delicious.

Now we're going to make a savory recipe in either your food processor or your blender. In this module I'm going to give you two recipes to choose from. You can either make raw alfredo sauce in your blender, or you can make a raw vegetable spread in your food processor. The choice is yours.

Raw Alfredo Sauce (with Zucchini "Noodles")

Alfredo Sauce Shopping List:

  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon thyme spice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • One large zucchini (for making noodles)

Raw Nut Pate (with Cucumber "Crackers")

Nut Pate Shopping List:

  • 3 cups walnuts (soak for at least half an hour to soften - rinse and discard water)
  • 1/4 cup raw soy sauce
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup onion
  • 2 medium-sized carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • A pinch of salt
  • One large cucumber (for slicing into "crackers")

(This recipe is also called "Raw Vegetable Cream Cheese")
