Are you taking in enough water? Blood can thicken if you're under-hydrated. Raise your intake for a few days and see if that makes a difference. If so, keep at it. If not, I don't know what's causing it.
Have you asked your doctor? It may not be just cosmetically. I don't mean you have a serious disease, but it may be something your doctor knows about. I know many people are afraid to ask their doctor, for fear they will want to put them on medicine to fix it. (whatever IT is). The only thing I can think of is varicose veins, but that doesn't sound like it to me. They don't come and go, and hands and nose getting red...hmmm.
Edited to add: Have you had your blood pressure taken lately? Is your blood pressure high?
I was looking at a website for Diatomaceous Earth and I noticed somebody's testimonial about it having helped her with varicose veins. Here is the link:

Please do your own due diligence. I have no personal experience with DE.
Are you taking anything? Diet pill, anything that raises your metabolism? Could be the case?
Venorid is recommendable and very beneficial. It stops the veins problem.completely amazed me.
I started suffering from varicose veins after the first pregnancy. I should say, it is better to address a doctor first. He can tell you whether you have a disease or not, and if yes, what grade it has. The faster you address a specialist, the better as your situation can cause more serious problems. Good luck!
