I too, would like to hear some input!
whats rebounding?
Those mini trampolines. Hopping around on those is supposed to be really good for you.
No rebounders out there??? Well, sky princess, I just bought one so I will let you know what I think of it!
I rebounded but I have not done it in a while… But I really love doing it!!!! Hope you like it coconutty!
My wife has owned a rebounder for 22 years or so. She loves it. I don’t use it as much though I should. Our children like to bounce on it too. Ckeck out this link concerning the benefits of rebounding; http://www.reboundair.com/33ways.htm
I have been thinking of getting a rebounder. I am terribly out of shape and after reading about the health benefits from it I will be ordering one shortly. Besides, we just got 8 more inches of snow this weekend with more expected tonight. Can’t get out and walk around with above knee deep snow on the ground. Spring is coming soon, spring is coming soon, my mantra right now. lol
I got one a couple of weeks ago it is brilliant. I use it 10 mins every day and everything is firming up more rapidly than normal exercise. It is good fun too. Apparently 10 mins on it is the physical equivalent to 30mins jogging because of all the little readjustment movements your body has to make to stay balanced…,and having no resistance feels lovely. I’m going to move it into the garden as soon as the weather starts behaving.
Oh goodie!.....my boyfriend is getting me one for my birthday,I have waited oh so long for one. Any suggestions on a reasonable priced brand and where to go to get one???Thanks!!!!
Cool, I can’t wait!!!
mham I got mine off Ebay, they have a bunch!
Hi : )
Here is an article you might find interesting about mini trampoline’s benefits: www.naturalnews.com/022716.html
I enjoy cross training & use mine (reboundAir) every other day, it is efficient (lymph, toning, ...), invigorating and quite fun. : )
Thank you! Y’all have inspired me to dust off a rebounder I have in the garage…. oh, and start using it. I can use some good lymph flushing and the rest. :) Anyone have any suggestions for a good rebounder workout DVD?
Oooohhh…I have to wait until April for my rebounder!Jealous Again, any suggestions other than ebay for one(thanks coconutty, but my boyfriend probably won’t look there).I am hoping to get some ideas for him soon and also, about how much is reasonable to pay for one. from what I have seen they can be a bit pricey?,Thanks for any other suggestions! Is a bit over 100.00 crazy?
I suggest you invest in a good one. The cheap ones don’t last long, the springs stretch over time and you’ll find yourself bouncing off the floor below.
Can anyone recommend a good rebounder brand or place to buy?
I read two excellent rebounding articles:
1) http://www.wellbeingjournal.com/index.php?optio…
2) http://www.wellbeingjournal.com/index.php?optio…)
and bought a Needak rebounder last month (http://www.needak-rebounders.com/). My husband and I have been faithfully using it daily, sometimes for brief intervals, other times for up to a half hour or more. It is fun, simple and the benefits numerous. Needak is the most often recommended of the rebounders and I can feel a big difference between it and the ones I find at the gym, which actually are not that comfortable.
Thanks for posting those articles! Interesting stuff! Well my rebounder came today… I love it already! It’s crazy how so little bouncing can get you so worked up. Great addition to the collection :-)
Okay..this may be a silly question…but are they super noisy? I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor and if I got one of these I wouldn’t want to annoy the heck outta the people below me!! It sounds like fun so I am intrigued…
Well… I live on the 3rd floor… Not noisey… BUT it does shake the whole apartment! Maybe I would care more if the lady below me didn’t have a stupid kid that screams it’s head off at all hours of the day, but I don’t, so this is my payback! haha :-)
hahaha…..such a good subtle of getting her back! My building is a pretty quiet building so I wouldn’t want to disturb…then they would be paying me back!! yikes!....thanks for the heads up!!
I’ve been thinking of getting a rebounder for years… for 7 years exactly. I’ve used it a few times… but, wasn’t “convinced” it did much. However, I only used it for a week.
Anyway, it would be great for the winter… and just for doing SOMETHING active. We’re usually pretty active, but sometimes we don’t do anything for weeks!
Would it store well under my bed? How “tall” is it? I want to make sure I have plenty of storage space and ceiling room.
Well I got one that folds up so yes it would be perfect to slip under the bed when not in use. There seem to be alot out there that fold.
yes, i have one and i love it! It really is a great form of exercise…and although this is gross…it really keeps your colon moving lol It also makes my skin nicer and keeps me from getting sick…great machine

here’s a link to a training video I found and have used. I love my rebounder and so do my kids!
superkat92 – Yeah I’ll have to agree with you about it “keeping things moving”!! Seems like every time I get on the darn thing, I have to interupt for a bathroom break! LOL What the heck! Anyone else run into this prob? Or am I still in the “getting used to it” phase?
Anyone know how the Bellicon compares to the Needak? Also would you get a better workout from the “soft bounce” or the “firm bounce”—Needak has both.
I have a soft bounce needak.I get a great workout from it. Iam not sure about the firm bounce though. I have been rebounding for years. I highly recommend the needak.
i love the fact that i can get on my rebounder and bounce for a brief time and voila, i’m off to the bathroom. it really helps with keeping one regular.
I have a cheap rebounder, but it’s really fun and doesn’t seem to bother my husband when he’s in the same room hanging out. It’s a great warm-up for strength training too.
