The cheapest litter is an off brand and usually is made from clay... As far as I know, clay is all natural... Good luck with your new addition, are you going to feed it raw??? I've come to a point in my life that I can't imagine buying, let alone touching raw chicken and bones... So good good luck to your kitty and you, life with be interesting... smile
We use Swheat Scoop, it is biodegradable, natural, clumping and made from wheat, as the name implies. It works well and we have 3 cats testing it out daily. Clumps well! Price is good too.
Congratulations on your new kitty :)
Have you considered toilet training the kitty? Most pet stores have a kit used for training purposes. I had a cat years ago who used the toilet. No litter needed. No littler box to maintain. No smell in the house. Was fantastic.
i've tried both "shweat scoop" and "the world's best cat litter," but they both smell kind of funky to me, esp. the world's best cat litter, which smells like dusty corn. some people like that smell. i now use "feline pine clumping," and i'm liking it the best so far.
thanks everyone for your replies! I have been leaning toward the feline pine but wasn't sure if it was truly natural. I have a new problem to worry about..my cat and little dog got into a fight and the cat scratched my daisy's eye. She has not been able to keep it open and now looking at her eye it looks a bluish milky film is in her vision. I can't believe this. I feel so guilty!!
