Holy sweet-tooth luxury!
This is a dangerous recipe to make more of if you are alone in the house. Really much better than SAD caramel sauce.
It goes best with tart green apples.
4 tablespoon tahini
3 tablespoon maple (maple best for real carmel taste)
4 medjool dates
1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
dash vanilla,
OPTIONAL
tart green apples, sliced for dipping
I THINK these are the measurements I used (-ish)...maybe more tahini.
Adjust for your own sweet-salty-tart-tooth.
Process till dates are fully blended in (it’s nice to soak dried dates in lemon-water for an hour before mixing in). I like a little more
salt – like 1 1/4 tsp…that really goes awesome with the sweetness,
