Servings:
1 large or 2 smallDessert for breakfast! This tastes like ice cream, but it is actually good for you!
Ingredients:
2 Dates, pitted
4 Bananas, frozen
Almond Milk
Carob Powder, to
taste
drop Vanilla
Preparation:
Blend the dates with enough almond milk to blend smoothly. Add the frozen bananas and almond milk to the blender to make it your preferred thickness. Add a couple drops of vanilla and carob powder to taste. (I use a couple heaping spoonfuls, but I really like carob!) Blend ‘til creamy and enjoy!

mmmorgans -- that seems like a lot of extra work!! I just peel a bunch, put them whole in a zip bag and freeze them (flat on a baking sheet overnight). They stack and store easily that way. Quiora -- They break into chunks very easily even frozen, no need to cut them up before freezing.

I peel before freezing. I should try cutting them into chunks first too. I have a cheap blender and digesting whole frozen bananas is hard on it!

I put mine in the freezer peels and all. When I need one, I soak it in warm water until the peel comes off, sometimes you have to cut off excess stringy bits.

i peel them and freeze then whole. if you freeze them with the peels on, a pairing knife can be usefel ;)

Yes! Peel first, and break into little chunks, unless you have a vitamix!

I meant "peel" and then freeze... =)

This might be a stupid question, but how do you all freeze your bananas? When I freeze them in the peel, I can never get it off. Do you feel, and then freeze?
