Servings:
Serves 1-2A sweet treat to beat the summer heat! ;-)
Ingredients:
1 cup young coconut pulp, frozen
2 bananas, frozen
¼ cup carob powder (or cacao
powder)
¼ cup spirulina powder
6 dates
seeds of 1 vanilla bean
dash sea salt
Preparation:
Put everything in your food processor and mix until completely smooth. It will be the consistency of soft serve.
The choco-spirulina combo is surprisingly delicious, but if you’re not too
crazy about spirulina, you might want to start with less and work your way up.
Dates are to taste- you could also use agave, maple syrup, lucama powder, stevia, etc.

I would suggest something I do for those who don't have high power food processors or blenders - let all frozen ingredients unthaw a little. Maybe 20 or so depending on the temperature. I really makes making ice cream sooo much easier and faster.
Yum, thanks for this. I gotta remember to add spirulina to mine. No excuses!

It does get really firm, but if you have the time, you can process the frozen ice cream, and it will get nice and soft again.

oh yummy!
I've never tried making raw icecreame. Can the icecreame be frozen for later use or does it get too firm?
