Quick, easy and satisfying. Don’t forget a toothpick.
1 Corn on the cob, husked
1 key lime , or 1/4 of regular lime
dash of sea salt
dash of red pepper
Cut the lime and squeeze (and rub) the juice on the cob. Sprinkle with sea salt and red pepper. Enjoy!
This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, etc.
Cherie - i have a tuna salad recipe and it combines sweet white miso or chick pea miso with walnuts and it makes it super creamy. Maybe use this as a base for creamed corn and heat in dehydrator... just an idea :)
Thanks so much for this idea. I love raw corn on the cob, especially now that it's in season. I think it's better this way than cooked corn. I wouldn't have thought that you could even eat corn straight off the cob, but this recipe gave me the confidence to try it. We just had gotten our weekly CSA share and I sat down and tried it.... so wonderful!!! I think the corn should be fresh and in season. The corn at the grocery store is going to be more starchy because the sugars start turning into starch with in a few days.
Hi, daily raw. I was not a creative cook, nor am I a creative preparer of raw foods. Some of you guys just blow me away with your fabulous recipes. I have a question about corn. Do you think one could make a creamed corn type thing and put it in the dehydrator to warm? Maybe someone will create something of the kind.
