Crispy Chocolate Bar
Remember Crispy Chocolate Bars? Or Mr. Krispers? Something like that. Well this recipe I came up with reminds me of that. Simple, quick, and gives you Omega-3s, MCTs, and antioxidants. My version is low-sugar as well, but I'm sure you could use agave, date syrup, or some other raw sweetener if you prefer.
2 tablespoons Cacao powder
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4-1/2 teaspoon
stevia
1/4 cup chia seeds
Blend the Cacao, coconut oil, and stevia. Add more stevia or cacao powder if you like it sweeter or "darker". It's important you have it where you want it at this step.
Have a shallow
dish ready to pour the chocolate into.
Add the chia seeds quickly and place them in the freezer until set, about 1 hour. You want to get the chocolate quickly to the freezer so that the chia seeds do not have time to absorb the liquid and "gel" up if you want that crispiness!
Break into pieces and enjoy!
