Onion rings

Probably too simple to be a ‘recipe’ but I love them! Light and flavorful snacks…A good way to use up extra onions…I blend 6 or 7 rings into salad dressings to add a nice sweet onion flavor.
Preparation:
Slice delicious onions into rings. Place in Dehydrator for around 24 hours. Mmmmmm snacks with sweetness, bite, and righteous flavor.

So, this sounds great. To what consistency do you hydrate? chewy? crisp? What is the shelf life?

these are really good blended with sun-dried tomato, yellow pepper, jalapeno, and olive to make a nice spicy side to sprinkle on soups and various yummies
