Prisca's Singapore Rojak
We have summer all year round in this part of the world, “Rojak” ( Malay word meaning : everything being mixed together) is an especially refreshing and appertizing dish. It’s sweet and sour,yet at the same time savoury and spicy. Enjoy!
½ pound Jicama
½ pound Pineapple, (Dole Phillipines)
½ pound Half-ripen
Mango
1 cup Bean Sprouts
1 Cucumber, (Japanese)
1 Green or Red Apple
1 tablespoon Apple Cider
1
tablespoon Ginger Flower , (chopped)
2 tablespoon Miso Paste , (Dark)
3 tablespoon Lime Juice
1 tablespoon Chillies, (vary according to taste)
1 teaspoon Olive
Oil
3 teaspoon Honey or Agave
1 teaspoon Shoyu to taste
Lime Rind from 1 lime
½ pound raw peanuts or
almonds
sesamee seeds
Roughly chopped up all the Salad ingredients into bite size and set aside to make the sauce.
Put all the Sauce ingredients in a big bowl and mixed thoroughly with half the amount of the nuts. Toss in the Salad ingredients and sprinkle with remaining nuts and sesamee seeds.

Maritapaige, I do encounter similar problem over here in Singapore , that's why I had been eating my salad plain for the past 3 years! Can you imagine that? You should see the tears of joy in my husband's eyes when I met a raw food chef 2 months back.
As for ingredients I couldn't get, I would usually throw in something similar, eg Soya sauce for Soyu, Canola oil for Olive oil etc.

Sojourner, so sorry for the confusion. Salad ingredients starts from Jicama to Apples, and the rest are for sauces.

Prisca, I live in neighbouring Sarawak, Malaysia. I find it hard to get a lot of ingredients to make my raw food recipes more interesting. Also, things like dehydrators are impossible to get here. What do you suggest?

prisca - this has my mouth watering. I lived in Hawaii for 10 years before moving back to the mainland and I really miss all of the green, fresh vegetable dishes that I could find at the malay, thai, korean, and vietnamese restaurants.
