I didin’t see any other recipes for tofu spread and it used ot be one of my favourite dips!I ended up just throwing this together when i noticed i had some lefteover soaked almonds in the fridge and I swear it tasted and looked exactly like tofu spread. I didin’t write down the measurements so this is all guess work. This is my first recipe post so let me know what you think.
1½ cup almonds, soaked
1 carrot, diced
1 black or 2 red radish, optional
.33 cup water
4 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon cayenne
½ teaspoon cumin
.33 teaspoon chilli
½ teaspoon curry, for color
Grind the almonds in the food processor to a thick, even pulp.
Add the carrots, the radish, the water and the nutitional yeast and grind until even througout.
*Next, add the avocado, lemon juice and spices and blend until desired texture.
Eat with veggies or use as a spread in lettuce wraps.
I even made crokets with the leftovers by dehydrating overnight at 115.
