It’s not really something you need a recipe for. My kids made this yesterday all by themselves & I thought it was pretty cool! :) So I took a pic of their creation & told them I’d post a recipe.
I wanted something different for breakfast, so I began rummaging through my fridge and realized that I still had some figs in the back (picked up a basket at the LOCAL market! Yay for local figs!!!), and a jar of some banana milk, too! I decided to change my old recipe of PB, yogurt, and sunflower seeds, to a better version with mylk instead!
A wonderful, fragrant sauce I created as a topping for a raw ‘mango with sticky rice’, based on jicama coconut rice. The ‘sticky rice’ part didn’t work, but this mango sauce really did.
Ahh… fruit leathers. A deliciously wise way to preserve the summer harvest and easily get your five-a-day while travelling. I chew mindfully at their sheer genius…
I got this recipe from an Israeli cookbook. They make some KILLER salads! :D
