So I got some big Portobello Mushrooms marked down at the store although I had no idea what to use them for but I made something up out of nowhere and here is what I got so yummy! Thats the thing with raw food I can have so much fun and it'll most likely always taste good, and it will make me feel good too!
I really like Pumpkin seeds and they have lots of vitamins and minerals like Iron (which I have worried about going raw) so everyday I soak some for the next day for something either smoothie or cereal then I experimented with this after seeing a raw sesame dip video and just made it up as I went. This recipe was my 2nd attempt at and it turned out better than my first (no oil, raisins or spinach in it)
Easy, quick, and simple nori wraps that aren't full of nuts. Keep well in the fridge for a day or two - I like to make them to take to work!
This recipe is really good and I drink it at least once a day. Most of my non-vegan/vegetarian friends fear this drink, though. That's where the smoothie recipe derives its name, "But it smells like GRASS!" If it is really GREEN, then you know it is GOOD for you!
Green is good!
Fresh and leafy spinach with flavorful vegetables, and a tangy balsamic kick. This is something I've been throwing together lately as I rummage through the fridge looking for edibles. (I'm the only vegan in the house, so the fridge and pantry are usually quite stocked with all kinds of things I can't have.) Quantities are approximate; I usually just make it up as I go along.
