Cantelope Milkshake

This is a great cool down drink. If you miss milkshakes, try this one. I must give credit, however, to Anuja and Hetal, stars of showmethecurry.com. My love for Indian Cuisine prompted me to take their none raw version of this (with regular milk) and turn it into a raw version. The Cardamom which is added to many foods and drinks in India adds an extra level of flavor.

Ingredients:

One cup of cantelope
1/2 cup of almond milk (more or less as you choose the consistency)
One cup of ice
Agave nectar to taste
1/4 tsp. of cardamom powder

Preparation:

Put cantelope, almond milk(it tastes better with vanilla almond milk which you can find on this website), ice, agave nectar, and cardamom powder in blender. Blend until all ingredients are smooth. Pour in a beautiful glass and garnish with a little extra cantelope if desired. This recipe can be doubled, tripled or quadrupled with ease and of course, you can use different fruits to change the flavor. The amount of agave nectar will be by your own taste due to the fact that not all cantelopes are of the same sweetness level.

this sounds really nice. i usually just do a simple canteloupe milkshake by cutting up a whole canteloupe and blending it with a little bit of water. it comes out so frothy and creamy.
